Lorient considering moves for Lyon’s Jeff Reine-Adélaïde and Brest’s Jérémy Le Douaron

L’Équipe are reporting that FC Lorient are considering Olympique Lyonnais’ Jeff Reine-Adélaïde (25) and Stade Bresoit’s Jérémy Le Douaron (25) as Les Merlus look to strengthen their midfield options.

Lorient, owned by Bill Foley, have already brought in Romain Faivre from partner club Bournemouth on loan this summer. The former Lyon forward excelled on loan with Régis Le Bris’ side last season, however, collectively, Lorient have struggled so far this campaign. The Breton club have two draws in their first two games, but just one goal. Bamba Dieng has looked particularly isolated upfront, so the club are looking to bring in an attacking midfielder.

Le Douaron is one name being considered. The Brest attacker, who is under contract until 2026, scored 10 goals in Ligue 1 last season. Lyon’s Reine-Adélaïde is another name being considered, as Lorient look to revamp their midfield. However, according to L’Équipe, there are teams abroad that are also interested in the Lyon defensive midfielder, and currently, a move outside of Ligue 1 looks more likely.
