Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed the permanent signing of Gonçalo Ramos (22). The Portuguese international joined Les Parisiens on a loan deal from Benfica in the summer.
Ramos joined PSG in the summer on a one-year loan deal that included a quasi-obligatory option to make the deal permanent. Les Parisiens reportedly paid a €20m loan fee in a deal that was reportedly worth €80m.
Since joining the Ligue 1 champions, he has played 15 times, scoring twice and registering one assist. Both of those goals against arch-rivals Olympique de Marseille in late September.
Ramos is currently being used in rotation with Randal Kolo Muani, who also made the move to the Parc des Princes during the summer transfer window, however, he is no longer in competition with Hugo Ekitiké, who is currently out of the first-team picture Ramos’ contract with PSG runs until the summer of 2028.
PSG are currently top of Ligue 1 after Round 12 and are the league’s top scorers with 29 goals. They face the second top-scorers, AS Monaco, on Friday.
