Chelsea, Manchester United and PSG interested in Mike Maignan amid AC Milan contract renewal talks

Foot Mercato are reporting that Chelsea, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich are all interested in AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan (28).

France’s No.1 wants to remain at AC Milan, however, an agreement over a renewal with the Serie A club is yet to be reached. Maignan, whose current deal with AC Milan runs until 2026, is demanding a significant salary increase, which would reflect his growth at the club, as well as his new status as the No.1 of Les Bleus.

Whilst discussions are ongoing, AC Milan and Maignan are still someway apart and talks are therefore proving difficult. If negotiations do fail, some of Europe’s elite could be tempted into making a move. PSG, Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Manchester United are all interested in the former Lille OSC man. The Red Devils’ interest comes despite the summer signing of André Onana, who is yet to convince since moving to Old Trafford.

If any club is to prise Maignan away from the San Siro, it will take over €70m to do so, according to Foot Mercato.
