Lille predicted XI v PSG: Jonathan David could return after calf injury

Jonathan David was forced to sit out of Lille OSC’s midweek victory over Kl Klaksvik, however, the Canadian international could make his return in time to start against Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday evening.

David has hit form since the November international break and has reasserted himself as Paulo Fonseca’s first-choice No.9. However, Les Dogues had to do without him on Thursday with the Canadian forward suffering from a calf injury. He was therefore also a doubt to face PSG on Sunday, but according to L’Équipe, David is in line to start against Les Parisiens.

Nabil Bentaleb, who also missed that midweek UEFA Europa Conference League victory through suspension, is also set to return, pushing Angel Gomes into a No.10 position.

Lille likely lineup v PSG

Lucas Chevalier; Ismaily, Alexsandro, Leny Yoro, Tiago Santos; Rémy Cabella, Benjamin André, Nabil Bentaleb, Edon Zhegrova; Angel Gomes; Jonathan David.
