Lille set €50 million price tag on Leny Yoro

According to Foot Mercato, Lille have set a €50 million price tag on hot centre-back prospect Leny Yoro (18) among growing interest from top European clubs, including Bayern Munich, PSG and Real Madrid.

The teenager has been in exciting form this season, starting 16 matches for Lille in all competitions, scoring twice. Yoro possesses excellent ball-carrying and distribution abilities, making him one of the most in-demand young players in the world at his position. However, he is still lacking on the physical side of things and would need to improve on his duelling impact if he aims to succeed with the best teams in Europe

Yoro set to become Lille’s 3rd most valuable sale

If Yoro’s transfer were to reach that €50 million fee, he would become the third most valuable sale in the club’s history, behind first-place Nicolas Pépé (28), who left Les Dogues for Arsenal in a transfer worth €80 million, and second place Victor Osimhen, who cost Napoli €75 million to sign him in the summer of 2020.

No doubt Lille will be looking to keep the Frenchman until at least next summer, as he has become an essential part of Paulo Fonseca’s lineup.
