PSG looking to pip Europe’s elite and sign Lille’s Leny Yoro

Foot Mercato are reporting that Paris Saint-Germain are looking to beat Europe’s elite clubs to the signing of Lille OSC centre-back Leny Yoro (18).

Yoro has only made 26 Ligue 1 appearances, but in that time, he has already carved out a reputation as one of the most promising defenders in Europe. Bar the first game of the season, against OGC Nice, the France U21 international has played in all of Les Dogues’ Ligue 1 matches this season. In 16 appearances in all competitions this season, he has three goals.

Europe’s biggest clubs are lurking and it is PSG that are the most intent on securing a deal for Yoro. The club’s recruitment team is unanimous in wanting to bring the centre-back to the Parc des Princes, and Les Parisiens would even be wiling to loan the player back to Lille until the end of the season, should that allow them to secure his signing. Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and the Premier League’s top five are looking to rival PSG for his signature.

LOSC, however, remain intent on extending Yoro’s contract. His current deal expires in the summer of 2025.
