Alan Virginius (20) is playing an increasingly peripheral role at Lille OSC this season, and according to Foot Mercato, the France youth international could be set to a winter departure.
Following his move from Ligue 2 side Sochaux in the summer of 2022, Virginius featured 23 times for Les Dogues in all competitions in the 2022/23 season, scoring four goals, however, he is struggling to cement a place in the team this year. He hasn’t been included in a Ligue 1 squad since the victory against Le Havre at the beginning of October, and he has started just once, on the opening day of the season.
As a result, a departure in January is a possibility, as per a report from Foot Mercato. Ahead of a potential move away from the club, France U20 international Virginius has changed agents, and he is now represented by VV Consulting, manager by Vadim Vasiliev.
