Faouzi Ghoulam finally to Torino?

After a long and drawn out transfer saga, it appears that Saint Etienne’s full back Faouzi Ghoulam has finally agreed a move to Serie A side Torino, despite late reported interest from Ligue 1 rivals Lille.

The often reliable France Football believe that Saint Etienne and Torino have finally agreed a fee of €2.7m for the player after weeks of negotiating. The weekly football magazine also reports that Saint Etienne have secured a clause in the agreement which will see them receive 10% of any future transfer fee Ghoulam might command.

However, after the departure of Lucas Digne, Lille were expected to make a last ditch attempt to sign the player, but this never emerged.

Ghoulam is expected to sign a long term contract with Torino, for either 4 or 5 years.
