Digne Deal: The new Parisian

We understand that in the last hour Lucas Digne has completed a move to PSG. The left back has left Lille shortly after returning from Istanbul as U20’s World Champion with France.

After intense negotiations with both PSG and Monaco, it is thought that Les Parisiens won this deal because they were willing to spend €15m in total for the exciting left back whereas Monaco refused to pay more than €13m.

The player will earn around €65k a week and will be used as a long term replacement for the ageing Maxwell, who is expected to return to South America in the coming year.

The player passed a medical this morning after PSG and Lille found an agreement for his transfer fee yesterday.
