Stuttgart line up OGC Nice’s Evann Guessand as potential Sehrou Guirassy replacement

According to Foot MercatoStuttgart are considering OGC Nice forward Evann Guessand (22) as a potential replacement for Sehrou Guirassy (27), whose start-of-season form in the Bundesliga has attracted the interest of some of Europe’s top sides.

Since 2022, Guirassy has 27 goals in 33 matches in the Bundesliga, and logically, Stuttgart are anticipating interest in the former Stade Rennais forward in January. As reported by Foot Mercato in November, AS Roma, AC Milan, Newcastle United and Manchester United are all interested in the in-form Guirassy.

Should Guirassy move on this winter, Stuttgart could make a move for Guessand. This season, the Frenchman has two goals and one assist for Les Aiglons, but following his loan spell at FC Nantes last season, he has established himself as a useful squad player in Francesco Farioli’s side. Guessand’s current deal with Nice runs until the summer of 2026 and with the Ligue 1 club struggling with a lack of depth up front, it remains to be seen whether they will be open to a mid-season sale.
