Lens predicted XI v Lyon: Wesley Said replaces suspended Elye Wahi

Lens will be looking to bounce back this Saturday against Lyon, following their humiliating 6-0 defeat to Arsenal in the Champions League. Franck Haise’s side are on a positive streak in Ligue 1 after a turbulent start to the season and aim to extend their invincible streak to nine games.

Summer signing Andy Diouf (20) is back in the starting lineup to replace Neil El Aynaoui (22), as is Florian Sotoca (33) instead of Angelo Fulgini (27). Sotoca had been rested against Clermont in the last matchday, ahead of the Champions League fixture. Both players will try to bring their verticality and offensive threat to fill in for €30 million signing Elye Wahi’s (20) absence, as the striker was suspended last weekend.

Lens will also be able to count on defensive leader Kevin Danso (25), who missed out on the two previous matches due to a foot injury and bring his serenity to relieve Les Sang et Ors’ fragile defence.

Lens likely lineup v Lyon:

Brice Samba; Jonathan Gradit, Kevin Danso, Facundo Medina; Ruben Aguilar, Andy Diouf, Salis Abdul Samed, Przemysław Frankowski; Adrien Thomasson, Florian Sotoca; Wesley Said
