After resting some key players during RC Lens’ 3-0 victory over Clermont Foot on Saturday, Kevin Danso and Florian Sotoca are amongst those expected to return to the starting lineup against Arsenal in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Danso was initially included in the squad to face Clermont, however, the Austrian was ultimately left out as a precaution. As reported by L’Équipe, he is expected to return following a minor ankle injury, but his presence in the starting lineup is in question. Deiver Machado was also absent on Saturday and he is expected to also be absent against Arsenal.
Former Leicester City midfielder Nampalys Mendy is also expected to return. He has often been preferred over Andy Diouf in European competition so far this season. Sotoca will also return, replacing either Angelo Fulgini or Adrien Thomasson.
