Brest vs Strasbourg to be postponed due to damage caused by Storm Ciaran

According to L’Équipe, Brest’s match against Strasbourg which is scheduled to take place on the 12th November is set to be postponed. This is because of damage, caused by Storm Ciaran on Wednesday, at the Stade Francis-Le Blé which means that Les Pirates are unable to fulfil their roles as hosts.

L’Équipe report that the new date for the match between Brest and the Racing club should be on the 6th December. This three week delay in the fixture will allow for vital repairs to take place at the Stade Francis-Le Blé to take place. It was also considered that the fixture would be reversed and that Strasbourg will play the role of hosts. However, this will not be the case.

LFP are expected to make the decision official next week and announce that the match will be played at the next available juncture. This being the reported date of the 6th December.
