PSG leading race to sign Chelsea target Gabriel Moscardo

According to Foot MercatoParis Saint-Germain are leading the race to sign Corinthian’s midfielder Gabriel Moscardo (18), who is also a target for Chelsea. 

Fabrizio Romano revealed on Monday that PSG were in the race to sign the highly-rated Brazilian midfielder, who recently made his debut for the country’s U23 side. However, the Italian journalist also revealed interest from other Premier League clubs, including Chelsea. The London club have reportedly seen a €20m bid rejected by Corinthians.

Foot Mercato now report that PSG are currently leading the race to sign Moscardo. Les Parisiens are in advanced negotiations with the player’s agent Rodolfo Ximenes, whilst Luis Campos is set to meet Corinthians’ executives in the coming days. He will also meet with Giuliano Bertolucci, who is acting as an intermediary in the deal. Corinthians, who have already refused Chelsea’s approach, are holding out for a €25m fee to part ways with their promising young defensive midfielder.
