Monaco predicted XI v Le Havre: Takumi Minamino set to return to starting lineup

Having been dropped in favour of Maghnes Akliouche during AS Monaco’s 2-0 victory over Stade Brestois last weekend, Takumi Minamino looks set to return to the starting lineup for Les Monégasques against Le Havre AC.

There was good news for Monaco this week. Both Vanderson and Mohammed Salisu are nearing their returns. The former has made the matchday squad, with the latter just missing out. The Principality club have been lacking in depth in defence since the start of the season, so their returns are welcome.

However, Monaco will be without Myron Boadu, who suffered a quadriceps injury in training on Monday. The choice upfront will therefore be between Wissam Ben Yedder and Folarin Balogun. The latter started but struggled against Brest last weekend, alluding to the former’s return on Saturday evening.

Monaco likely lineup v Le Havre

Philipp Köhn; Soungoutou Magassa, Guillermo Maripán, Wilfried Singo; Ismael Jakobs, Denis Zakaria, Youssouf Fofana, Krépin Diatta; Aleksandr Golovin, Wissam Ben Yedder, Takumi Minamino.
