Nice predicted XI v Toulouse: Jean-Clair Todibo out, Alexis Claude-Maurice returns

Jean-Clair Todibo is one of several absentees as OGC Nice face Toulouse FC at the Allianz Riviera on Sunday, which makes Alexis Claude-Maurice’s return to the fold a timely one.

Todibo featured in France’s first match of the international break, and according to reports, he was set to start in the second match as well. However, he ultimately missed out entirely due to a small quadriceps injury. Whilst manager Francesco Farioli has not expressed concern about Todibo’s injury, he did nonetheless reveal that he would rest the player as a precaution.

It is likely that Pablo Rosario will fill in at centre-back. That is usually a job performed by Youssouf Ndayishimiye, however, he is suspended for the tie, as is Hicham Boudaoui. Le Gym therefore have a shortage of midfielders going into the match. Farioli will, however, be able to rely on Claude-Maurice, who so far this season has played just 19 minutes of football. The Frenchman has fully recovered from a calf injury and could even start.

Nice predicted XI v Toulouse

Marcin Bulka; Melvin Bard, Dante, Pablo Rosario, Jordan Lotomba; Alexis Claude-Maurice (or Sofiane Diop), Khéphren Thuram, Morgan Sanson; Jérémie Boga, Terem Moffi, Gaëtan Laborde.
