Saudi Arabian top-flight looking to sign 10 big-name stars, including Chelsea’s N’Golo Kanté

AFP are reporting that the Saudi Arabian top-flight are hoping to tempt 10 big-name players to the division this summer, including N’Golo Kanté (32), whose future at Chelsea remains uncertain.

Kanté’s contract at Chelsea expires this summer, and the two parties are yet to reach an agreement over a renewal. Saudi Arabia are looking to profit from the uncertainty and bring the France international to their division. However, Kanté isn’t the only target. As revealed by AFP, the division is looking to recruit 10 players, many of whom have won the World Cup or the Champions League.

The Saudi authorities are in contact with 10 players. Kanté, Luka Modric, Hugo Lloris, Sergio Ramos, Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets, Angel Di Maria, Roberto Firmino, Lionel Messi and Karim Benzema have all been cited as targets. As reported by Fabrizio Romano, the latter is nearing a move to Al Ittihad. The biggest recruit in the Saudi Arabian top flight is currently Cristiano Ronaldo, who plays for Al Nassr.
