Nice predicted XI v Strasbourg: Aaron Ramsey and Nicolas Pépé out injured

Aaron Ramsey and Nicolas Pépé are both out for OGC Nice as they come up against Racing Club de Strasbourg Alsace on Saturday.

Ramsey, who has reportedly extended his stay at Nice, is suffering from calf fatigue, whilst Arsenal loanee Pépé is still struggling to recover from a knee issue. The Ivory Coast international was rushed back from the injury in time to face FC Basel in the UEFA Europa Conference League, but that decision has seemingly backfired. It is not certain whether he will be fit enough to feature again this season.

The same goes for January recruit Youssouf Ndayishimiye, who has also been playing through a knee issue. Les Aiglons are now looking to take no risks with the player, which prompted Didier Digard to reveal that Ndayishimiye may not play again this season.

However, in better news for Le Gym, Sofiane Diop has made his long-awaited return to the Nice squad. The former AS Monaco man hasn’t featured since getting injured against AJ Auxerre at the start of March.

Nice likely lineup v Strasbourg

Kasper Schmeichel – Melvin Bard, Dante, Jean-Clair Todibo, Jordan Lotomba – Khéphren Thuram, Hicham Boudaoui, Pablo Rosario – Gaëtan Laborde, Terem Moffi, Badredine Bouanani.
