Lens striker Loïs Openda’s market value ‘quadruples’ among interest from top clubs

Loïs Openda, the promising young forward of RC Lens, has reportedly seen his transfer value quadruple since joining the club for €10m in the summer, according to L’Équipe. The Belgian, who is under contract until 2027, has been a key player for Lens this season and is attracting interest from top clubs.

Despite this interest, Les Sang & Or are determined to hold on to Openda, who they see as an important part of their future, especially with European qualification on the horizon. The player has also spoke about the fact he is settled at Lens this season on numerous occasions.

In his debut season in France, Openda has scored 17 goals and provided three assists in 32 appearances. His versatility and potential have made him a highly sought-after player in the transfer market.

While Lens is hoping to keep hold of Openda for at least another season, they will undoubtedly face competition from other clubs. The club has several other key players, including Kevin Danso, Seko Fofana, and Facundo Medina, who are also attracting interest from top clubs according to the same article.
