Aaron Ramsey, Melvin Bard and Nicolas Pépé are all absent as OGC Nice host Auxerre on Friday with Youssouf Ndayishimiye expected to start in the midfield.
Ramsey has been a mainstay in Les Aiglons midfield since Didier Digard’s arrival in early January and has shown his best form for the club in recent weeks. However, the Welsh international suffered an injury during last weekend’s 3-0 victory over local rivals AS Monaco, and will now miss Friday’s match against Auxerre also.
He joins Bard, Pépé and Joe Bryan on the sidelines. Arsenal loanee Pépé is struggling to brush off a knee issue, and no date has yet been provided for his return. In his absence, Sofiane Diop, Terem Moffi and Gaëtan Laborde are set to lead the line for Les Aiglons.
