Official | Bournemouth winger Siriki Dembélé loaned out to Auxerre

Auxerre have announced the five-month loan of Bournemouth winger Siriki Dembélé (26). No purchase option has been included in the Scottish forward’s loan deal. Dembélé will wear the #77 jersey with the Yonne outfit. The older brother of Brest’s Karamoko Dembélé’s was short of game time with the Cherries, having only featured in six Premier League games, starting them all from the bench, with the 18th-placed side this season.

The 26-year-old winger joined Bournemouth from Peterborough one year ago and is tied to the Dorset-based club until 2026. Auxerre were in need of reinforcements to steer themselves away from a Ligue 2 relegation, as the Yonne outfit is the worst attacking side in Ligue 1, tied with Ajaccio, with only 16 goals scored in 20 games played, and have lost five league games on the bounce, the last of which came against Montpellier at home. They will travel away to Monaco this Wednesday for Ligue 1 gameweek 21.
