According to Saber Desfarges, Randal Kolo Muani’s persistence and determination was the key turning point in Eintracht Frankfurt changing their stance and agreeing to his move to Paris Saint-Germain. Despite the move looking like it had collapsed following Frankfurt’s failure to sign a replacement, Randal Kolo Muani is now set to become a PSG player.
Reports earlier in the evening had indicated that Frankfurt had increased their asking price to €110m in order to complete a deal, but PSG have been able to complete the deal at the initial €90m package agreed earlier today. Frankfurt planned to keep the former Nantes forward at the club. However, the French international told them he didn’t intend to play for Frankfurt anymore and only wanted to play for Les Parisiens.
After Kolo Muani’s determined pleas, the Bundesliga club cracked and have kept their promise to allow the 24-year-old to join Paris. The French forward has already completed his medical ahead of the move and should sign a 5-year deal at the Parc des Princes.
