Official | Marseille defender Isaak Touré (19) joins Auxerre on loan until end of season

Confirmed by Olympique de Marseille and Auxerre via their social channels and websites, the club have announced that defender Isaak Touré (19) has joined fellow Ligue 1 side Auxerre in a loan move until the end of the season.

L’Équipe reported last week that Marseille were looking to loan out the young centre-back, who arrived for €5m from Le Havre in the summer. However, after turning down Premier League giants Manchester City, in favour of remaining in France, Touré has only made five Ligue 1 appearances this season. However, the defender was experienced in Ligue 2 with Le Havre, and made several appearances at youth international level for France.

After signing Akim Zedadka from Lille as a joker signing, Auxerre reinforce their backline with Touré, who arrives on loan without an option to buy, and will wear the number 95 for the club that currently sit 18th in Ligue 1.
