Auxerre and Marseille reach agreement over Isaak Touré loan

RMC Sport are reporting that AJ Auxerre have reached an agreement with Olympique de Marseille for the loan of Isaak Touré (19).

L’Équipe reported on Wednesday that Marseille were looking to loan out the young centre-back, who arrived for €5m from Le Havre in the summer. However, after turning down Premier League giants Manchester City, in favour of remaining in France, Touré has only made five Ligue 1 appearances this season.

Consequently, Marseille are looking for a simple loan deal for the French youth international. Mohamed Toubache-Ter evoked Ligue 1 strugglers Auxerre as a likely suitor, adding that the two clubs were in talks over a deal. RMC Sport now report that those talks have reached a successful conclusion, with Touré set to join Auxerre on a simple loan until the end of the season. There will therefore be no purchase option. Touré will travel to Auxerre to complete the deal after Marseille’s match against Toulouse on Thursday.
