Real Madrid forward Endrick: “Playing with Vinícius Júnior and Kylian Mbappé would be wonderful.”

Speaking to L’ÉquipeEndrick (17), who signed for Real Madrid last December in a €70m, and who will join up with the La Liga club at the end of the season, has expressed his desire to play with Vinícius Júnior (23) and Kylian Mbappé (24).

Endrick will complete the season in his native Palmeiras before making the move to the Bernabeu in July. The young Brazilian striker broke onto the scene, but under Portuguese manager Abel Ferreira, has recently seen his gametime reduced. He is now also coming in for criticism from the club’s fans, but the 17-year-old tells L’Équipe that he is used to the pressure. “I’m used to it. It isn’t nice, but I have to deal with it,” he said.

When he moves to Spain in July, he will link up with compatriot Vinícius Júnior at the Bernabeu. He may also be joined by Mbappé. The France captain has remained at Paris Saint-Germain this summer, despite speculation over his future, however, for much of the transfer window, internal sources at the Ligue 1 club believed that Mbappé had already agreed to join Real Madrid on a free in 2024.

However, according to L’ÉquipePSG have not given up on the idea of tying Mbappé to a new deal. Endrick will be hoping that isn’t the case. “Playing with Viní and Mbappé would be wonderful. They’re both spectacular and I would be really happy to play with such big players,” said the Brazilian forward. On Mbappé, he said, “He’s a baller. He is way above the rest. He is decisive, spectacular, super fast, and he dribbles better now.”
