Pep Guardiola approves Abdoulaye Ndiaye’s move to Troyes

Foot Mercato are reporting that Abdoulaye Ndiaye (21) is set to join ESTAC Troyes from Olympique Lyonnais. Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola approves of the move.

Ndiaye played 30 minutes against Manchester United during Lyon’s pre-season friendly earlier this week, but he now looks set to join Troyes, who are part of the City Group. Troyes were relegated to Ligue 2, but despite their relegation to the second tier of French football, they still have the means to secure promising talents due to their multi-club status.

Lyon defender Ndiaye spent last season on loan at Bastia and now looks set for a return to Ligue 2 with Troyes. Guardiola has given his seal of approval ahead of a move, which Troyes are hoping to conclude this week. Foot Mercato are reporting that an agreement is close to being reached between the two clubs. The fee is thought to be just above €3m.
