Nice’s interest in Graham Potter wanes amidst interest from Crystal Palace, Leeds and Leicester

According to RMC SportOGC Nice’s interest in Graham Potter is waning amidst interest in the former Chelsea manager from Crystal Palace, Leeds United and Leicester City.

L’Équipe reported in late May that Potter was the favourite to succeed Didier Digard in the dugout at the Allianz Rivera. Nice-Matin this morning confirmed that Digard, a former manager of Les Aiglons, wouldn’t continue as manager of the club next season.

Whilst Potter is still a favourite amongst the INEOS hierarchy, interest from Crystal Palace, Leeds United and Leicester City has seen the link to Nice weaken. However, Potter has never been the favourite amongst other key members of the Nice hierarchy.

Florent Ghisolfi, who arrived from RC Lens mid-season, as well as CEO Fabrice Bocquet, are lobbying for the arrival of Régis Le Bris, who enjoyed success in his first season of management with FC Lorient. It is up to Ghisolfi and Bocquet to convince INEOS to make a move for Le Bris.
