Crystal Palace to sign Stuttgart’s Naouirou Ahamada

Premier League outfit Crystal Palace are close to signing Stuttgart’s French midfielder Naouirou Ahamada (20), according to a report from Foot Mercato. The Marseille-born player joined the German outfit from the Juventus academy eighteen months ago on a four-year deal. Ahamada has played in all sixteen Bundesliga games with Die Roten this season, scoring two goals. The outlet report that Crystal Palace have already reached an agreement with the German top flight’s sixteenth-placed side.

The 20-year-old is a versatile and energetic holding midfielder, able to play in front of the defense as well, and would be Crystal Palace’s first signing of the winter transfer window. As a promising, energetic midfielder, Ahamada should learn a great deal from Crystal Palace boss Patrick Vieira. The World Cup winner with France previously spoke of the struggles to find the right players in the transfer market. “We have identified the names of those players that we wanted“, Vieira said as quoted by The Athletic.Now everything is in the hands of the football club to try and make it happen.
