Ligue 1 commemorated the 8th anniversary of Kylian Mbappé’s (24) debut in the French top-flight on Saturday, The France captain made his debut in a 1-1 draw against SM Caen on 2nd December 2015.
Mbappé has come a long way since replacing Fábio Coentrão in the 88th minute of the match at the Stade Louis II. Wearing the No.33 at the time, he made his debut at the age of just 16 years and 347 days, and whilst he didn’t have time to impact proceedings in his short cameo back in December 2015, he has certainly made his mark on French football since.

Mbappé, who won the league with AS Monaco before making a big-money move to Paris Saint-Germain, has since made 230 appearances in Ligue 1, scoring 179 goals and registering 69 assists. However, with his PSG contract expiring at the end of the season, this season could ultimately be his last in France.
