OGC Nice, who have little to achieve in these final games of the season travel to the Stade de l’Aube to face relegation-threatened ESTAC Troyes, and they will do so without Nicolas Pépé, who is struggling with a knee injury.
Pépé is on loan at Nice from Arsenal but looks unlikely to remain on the French Riviera beyond the end of the current campaign. He is struggling with a recurring knee issue, from which he was rushed back to face FC Basel in the Europa Conference League quarter-final. That plan backfired: not only was his poor display a contributing factor behind Les Aiglons’ exit from the competition, he also aggravated his injury, causing a more lengthy absence.
Nice will, however, welcome some players back. Youcef Atal and Jordan Lotomba are both in the squad, the former will be hoping not to suffer a further setback. Joe Bryan, Mattia Viti, Alexis Beka Beka, Sofiane Diop and Youssouf Ndayishimiye are also all out.
Nice likely lineup v Troyes
Kasper Schmeichel – Melvin Bard, Dante, Jean-Clair Todibo, Jordan Lotomba – Khéphren Thuram, Hicham Boudaoui, Aaron Ramsey – Gaëtan Laborde, Terem Moffi, Badredine Bouanani.
