PSG in contact with entourage of Manchester United target Rasmus Højlund

Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Paris Saint-Germain are trying to hijack Manchester United’s move for Atalanta forward Rasmus Højlund (20).

PSG are in the hunt for a striker this summer having missed out on top targets in the position last summer, notably Robert Lewandowski, who instead moved to Barcelona. Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane is a priority target, according to reports in French media. However, the England captain is also being targeted by Bayern Munich.

Other names feature on the shortlist, including Højlund, according to Romano. The Italian journalist is reporting that PSG are in contact with the player’s entourage. However, Manchester United have already agreed terms with Atalanta’s Danish forward and will submit an opening offer for the player soon in order to prevent Les Parisiens from hijacking the deal.

Should PSG’s attempts to convince Højlund to join the club fail, other targets such as Kane, Victor Osimhen, Dušan Vlahović and Randal Kolo Muani may be further explored.
