Gianluca Scamacca edging closer to PSG move

Gianluca Di Marzio is reporting that Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca (23) is edging closer to a mvoe to PSG. According to sources contacted by GFFN, the Italian international has already agreed terms with the Ligue 1 champions.

Having seen an initial €35m offer rejected by Sassuolo, which fell short of Sassuolo’s €50m asking price, PSG have returned with an offer of around €40m plus bonuses, according to Di Marzio.

Scamacca, who scored 16 goals in Serie A last season, is one of three players who have agreed terms for a move to the Parc des Princes. Milan Skriniar (27) and Renato Sanches (24) also have agreements in place, according to sources contacted by GFFN.

Having seen advances for Reims striker Hugo Ekitike (20) rebuffed, PSG have turned their attention to Scamacca and have made the Italian their primary attacking target. Their latest offer sees Scamacca “getting closer and closer” to a move to the Ligue 1 champions.
