Young PSG midfielder Daouda Weidmann set for Torino move

As reported by L’Équipe young PSG midfielder Daouda Weidmann (19) is set to join Torino in the next few days. The PSG B-team regular is part of a group of several youth players who are looking for moves away from the French capital, who see better prospects elsewhere – whilst training away from the senior side.

An agreement with Torino is close to being found, with PSG (as with the majority of it’s young player sales) looking for a percentage on player’s resale value.

The former Paris FC youth player joined Paris Saint-Germain in 2016, and played for the club from U17 level all the way to PSG’s B team who play in the senior regional National 3 league in the Parisian area.

Last season Weidmann made eight appearances in the UEFA youth league alongside other youth players such as new PSV Eindhoven man Xavi Simons, and Ayman Kari – who prolonged his contract in the capital.
