PSG’s Edouard Michut handed warning over Luis Campos meeting no-show

Le Parisien report this afternoon that Paris Saint-Germain prospect Edouard Michut has been issued a warning after failing to show up to a meeting with sporting advisor Luis Campos on Wednesday.

The 19-year-old was not named in the squad that would be starting pre-season on July 4, instead being placed in a separate youth session to start on July 12, a move which he was ostensibly not pleased with.

Michut was due to meet with Campos on Wednesday, but the former did not show up. Instead, another meeting took place this afternoon, which reportedly only lasted a few minutes and had an “electric” atmosphere to it. The midfielder was said to have complained about the fact he was not in Christophe Galtier’s squad.

A warning was then handed to Michut, with the Frenchman being made to sign a paper acting as a call to order before leaving the room.

Reports have indicated that the young player is looking to leave the club over a lack of playing time, having only featured four times off the bench this season. In any case, his warning appears to be a sign of a changing atmosphere at PSG, in which there will be “no compromise” with regard to behaviour, in the words of Galtier at his unveiling.
