Dijon and Utrecht lead race for Villefranche’s Simon Elisor

As reported by L’Équipe, Villefranche striker Simon Elisor is generating broad interest ahead of the summer transfer window.

After 17 goals in France’s third tier this season for Villefranche, who will face Ligue 2 Quevilly next week over two legs for a place in the second division, the 22-year-old has caught the eye in Ligue 1, Ligue 2 and abroad, say the sports daily.

Currently on loan from Ajaccio, who were just promoted back to Ligue 1, Elisor has one year left on his deal at the Corsican club and Dijon and Dutch side Utrecht have already shown concrete interest in the striker.
