The young Malian will wear the number 12 after his transfer from Bastia to Angers was made official.
Angers SCO has recorded its fourth signing for the 2017-18 season. 21-year-old midfielder Lassana Coulibaly has joined “Les Scoists” on a four-year deal. Coulibaly is a versatile midfielder who joined Corsica in 2014 and after 15 convincing appearances in 2015-2016, he was offered his first professional contract last June. The Malian international quickly established himself as a regular in the first team under the management of François Ciccolini, playing 30 games for Bastia last season.
“If Lassana continues like this, I do not see how we can keep him out of the team. He goes faster and faster, listens and works without asking questions.”
It is in these terms that his new boss Stéphane Moulin had mentioned the superb start of the new Angevin, on the eve of the 7th day of Ligue 1.
