Ange-Etienne Biolchini, the individual in charge of the security company that employed the steward who attacked Jean-Philippe Mateta at half-time in last night’s disastrous Ligue 1 encounter between SC Bastia and Lyon, had told France Bleu that the individual in question will be fired.
“I did not immediately see the huge misconduct that this employee carried out, I summoned this man to my office for Tuesday morning. After having seen the images, the process of firing him will begin… the employee will have his professional clearance (to conduct such work) revoked.”
The first of many punishments to be handed out to a raft of individuals following yesterday afternoon’s violence.
