Hugo Lloris considers Al Hilal move

According to Foot Mercato‘s Santi Aouna, Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal have reportedly offered Tottenham goalkeeper and former France captain Hugo Lloris (36) a substantial increase in his salary, and that the Frenchman is currently in discussions and is interested in their offer.

The Saudi league champions have reportedly offered to triple Lloris’ salary, amounting to over €1.3 million per month. Sources indicate that the former French international is open to considering the proposal presented by Al Hilal, currently placed fourth in the Saudi Professional League (SPL).

Lloris has been with Tottenham since 2012 and finds himself at a crossroads in his career following his retirement from the French International team. With just one year left on his contract and his position under scrutiny, the Frenchman has been presented with an intriguing opportunity from the Middle East.

Sources close to the situation reveal that Al Hilal, one of Saudi Arabia’s most successful football clubs, has initiated discussions with Lloris regarding a potential transfer. The Saudi champions are keen to bolster their squad, and they believe the addition of Lloris would significantly enhance their goalkeeping department.
