L’Équipe report that Scottish giants Celtic have submitted a €3m proposal to Ligue 2 outfit SM Caen to sign 28-year-old striker Alexandre Mendy.
Mendy has scored 16 goals in 30 matches in the French 2nd division this season and is under contract until June 2024.
SMC, who currently sit 8th in Ligue 2, would like to keep the striker, but are open to negotiating if the proposal is considered big enough.
