According to sources contacted by Get French Football News, Sheffield Wednesday are targeting Ligue 2 side Stade Lavallois right-back Fouad Chafik.
It is our understanding that the player was on Leicester City’s shortlist before the arrival of Claudio Ranieri.
While no offers have been made for the Moroccan at the time of writing, several clubs have approached the player’s agent to make enquiries. Among these sides include Montpellier, Nantes, Lorient and SC Bastia. In England, Sheffield Wednesday are very interested.
At the moment, no formal bid has been made for the player to Laval.
