As reported by Fabrice Hawkins, Ligue 1 club Strasbourg are looking to sign a defensive midfielder with Valenciennes’ 20-year-old midfielder Mohamed Kaba a main target.
A move for the player by Racing is possible this month but a summer transfer seems more likely at this stage.
Having graduated VAFC’s youth system, Kaba has broken into the Ligue 2 side this season, making 20 appearances across all competitions so far, adding three assists.
