Baptiste Guillaume set to terminate Angers deal, join Valenciennes

La Voix du Nord report that Ligue 2 side Valenciennes are in advanced talks to sign 25-year-old attacker Baptiste Guillaume.

The attacker is in the process of reaching a mutual termination agreement with Le SCO, although the kinks still have to work out, but he still has to agree wages with VAFC. Guillaume is super motivated to join Valenciennes, knowing that manager Olivier Guegan wants him a lot.

Guillaume spent the 2019/20 campaign on loan with Valenciennes, playing 21 matches in Ligue 2, scoring twice and assisting once. Poor statistics, but ones that don’t demonstrate how hard he works off the ball.
