Game of the week: Lille OSC v Paris Saint-Germain, Sunday 19:45 (UK)
Should PSG beat Lille on Sunday evening, they are guaranteed to be top at Christmas. It will be a difficult task, however. They come up against a solid Lille side, who haven’t lost in Ligue 1 since 26th September. Elsewhere, the chasing pack will be looking to keep up the pressure. Nice face a tricky visit to Le Havre, who have shown themselves capable of challenging the top sides, whilst Monaco face Lyon. Adi Hütter’s side will be wary of his OL side, who will likely be buoyed after just their second win of the campaign. Lens versus Reims promises to be an intriguing tie. Les Stadistes are in need of a return to form after losing three of their last four, and the rumours of Will Still’s impending departure to Sunderland have polluted their preparations for this encounter.
