Predicted Marseille XI v Annecy

Marseille host tenth-placed Ligue 2 side Annecy in the Coupe de France quarter-finals tonight. Les Phocéens are overwhelming favourites to book their place in the semi-finals after seeing out Stade Rennais and of course Paris Saint-Germain in the previous rounds.

More than 55.000 fans are expected to attend the tie at the Vélodrome, which is a remarkable turn-out for a midweek Cup tie against a Ligue 2 outfit. The game will kick off at 9pm local time.

Croatian coach Igor Tudor is expected to shuffle his squad tonight. The former Juventus player may be tempted to give game time to back-up keeper Rubén Blanco (27). Meanwhile, fan favourite centre-back Chancel Mbemba should start after serving his one-game suspension against PSG last Sunday. Players with limited game time at Marseille, such as wing-back Issa Kaboré (21), midfielder Azzedine Ounahi (22) and club record-signing Vitinha (23) are expected to feature against Annecy, according to La Provence.

Predicted Marseille lineup v Annecy

Rubén Blanco – Chancel Mbemba, Eric Bailly, Sead Kolašinac – Issa Kaboré, Jordan Vérétout, Mattéo Guendouzi, Jonathan Clauss – Ruslan Malinovskyi, Vitinha, Azzedine Ounahi.
