PSG to block Carlos Soler departure, despite La Liga interest

According to Foot MercatoParis Saint-Germain will block a departure for Carlos Soler (26) in January, despite interest from La Liga.

Since his move from Valencia back in the summer of 2022, Soler has struggled for game time at PSG. Like last season, the Spain international is once again playing a peripheral role with Les Parisiens.

Real Betis, Sevilla and Valencia show interest in Soler

Whilst he has featured 14 times in all competitions, he has accumulated under 450 minutes of playing time. Naturally, therefore, Soler’s future at PSG is coming into question. However, according to Foot Mercato, sporting consultant Luís Campos rates the midfielder highly.

As a result, he and PSG are opposed to a departure, despite interest from his native Spain. Sevilla, Real Betis and former club Valencia would all be interested in repatriating the Spaniard in January. However, it currently looks likely that Soler will remain at the Parc des Princes this winter.
