PSG president encourages Kylian Mbappé to consider offers

Le Parisien are reporting that Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al Khelaifi is encouraging Kylian Mbappé (24) to listen to offers this summer.

The Mbappé saga is at an impasse, despite PSG’s latest attempts to unblock the situation. The France captain has been left out of PSG’s tour of Japan and South Korea. The club’s position is clear: trigger the one-year extension in his contract, or be sold. Mbappé, however, wants to remain with Les Parisiens beyond this summer, but not beyond 2024.

PSG are convinced that Mbappé has a pre-contract agreement to join Real Madrid in 2024, but the La Liga side, as of now, look unlikely to make a move this summer.

There is rumoured interest from other clubs this summer. Foot Mercato have revealed interest from Saudi Arabia, whilst RMC Sport have reported that Chelsea are weighing up an offer. Of course, anyone wishing to purchase Mbappé this summer would have to pay a fee.

According to Le Parisien, Al Khelaifi has therefore reached out to Mbappé to encourage him to listen to the offers with some clubs already showing an interest. Some clubs are willing to offer players in the deal. The Parisian publication adds, however, that Mbappé only wants to join Real Madrid.
