Speaking to the press following Olympique Marseille’s last-minute defeat to RC Lens on the weekend, Gennaro Gattuso admitted he was “worried” by his side’s lack of form. Les Phocéens have taken only one point from the nine available.

We see some players pressing at only 50 or 60%, which is unacceptable. We’re going to work to try and resolve these issues.”. OM had already lost late October’s clash with OGC Nice in a similar fashion, with Evann Guessand’s (22) late winner coming in the 79th minute.
“As a coach, it is my fault if I’m not able to get 100% from the players. We have quality players, and important absentees in the midfield. Important squad players Valentin Rongier (28) and Azzedine Ounahi (23) were two major absences on Marseille’s match sheet, and are ruled out due to a knee and back injury respectively.
