L’Association Nationale des Supporters (ANS) has announced that it has successfully appealed the travel ban affecting three sets of supporters in the upcoming weekend.
In a prefectorial decree made on Wednesday, over half of the Ligue 1 games for this weekend were to take place without any away fans.
The ANS responded to this order the following day with an appeal to the Council of State looking to overturn the decision for three matches affecting travelling Paris Saint-Germain, Stade de Reims, and OGC Nice fans.
Today, the Council of State has ruled in favour of the ANS, meaning that these three sets of supporters can now attend their team’s away games this weekend.

Les supporters niçois peuvent se déplacer au Havre.
Les supporters parisiens peuvent se déplacer à Lille.
Les supporters rémois peuvent se rendre à Lens.
Respectez bien les règles. Profitez-en. Bons matchs.
This decision marks the latest successful appeal that the ANS has made against prefectorial decrees prohibiting away supporters after the organisation successfully appealed a decision to ban Sevilla fans before their Champions League game against RC Lens.
France has seen a significant rise in these banning orders for away fans following the tragic death of a Nantes supporter. All fixtures categorised as ‘high-risk’ will see away fans prohibited from travelling and attending their team’s fixtures until the 18th of December.
