Monaco could return to sign Tosin Adarabioyo from Fulham in January

According to L’Équipe, Monaco could reignite their interest in Fulham centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo (26) in the January transfer window. Les Monégasques are looking to bolster their options at central defence in the winter window and the former England U21 international remains an option at the Stade Louis II.

Monaco were keen suitors of Aradabioyo in the summer transfer window but failed in their pursuit of the former Manchester City defender. The Cote d’Azur club had two bids of €5m and €10m rejected for the English defender as the Cottagers remained steadfast in their desires to keep their prized defensive asset. Adarabioyo’s contract at Craven Cottage is set to expire in June 2024 so he also remains an option for Les Monégasques to sign on a free transfer.

Adarabioyo or Brassier?

As they look to reinforce their options at centre back, Monaco are also exploring a deal to sign Brest centre back Lillian Brassier (24). The French defender is another option for Monaco in January and as things stand looks more likely than Adarabioyo. Les Monégasques have submitted a bid between €8m – €10m for the 24-year-old, according to Foot Mercato.
