Luis Campos could end Celta Vigo collaboration

According to Le ParisienLuis Campos, a freelance sporting consultant at Paris Saint-Germain, could end his collaboration with La Liga side Celta Vigo.

Campos has been an external advisor for Celta Vigo since being confirmed in the role in June 2022. Concurrently, the Portuguese advisor has worked at PSG as a sporting consultant. However, Campos could now be set to end his collaboration with one of his clients.

Campos began his work with the La Liga side at the request of president Carlos Mouriño. Whilst the pair have always shared a good relationship, the latter has handed over control of the club to his daughter, Marián Mouriño.

Campos preparing PSG transfer window

Campos’ continuation at Celta Vigo, currently 17th in La Liga is therefore under reflection, and there is no certainty that he will remain with the club beyond the end of the current season, when his contract expires.

With the presidential handover taking place, it is the end of one cycle and the beginning of the other and Campos is now considering his position at the club going forward. Meanwhile, Campos continues to prepare for the upcoming January transfer window at PSG. Manager Luis Enrique told the press on Saturday that he is “open” to the idea of signings next month, adding “there could be arrivals.”
